These Terms and Conditions apply to all orders of premade and custom book covers through this website.
The contract is concluded once the customer places an order and it is either confirmed by the provider via email or the payment has been received. Premade covers are offered as finished designs and are exclusively reserved for the customer once adjustments (e.g., book title and author name) have been implemented. Custom covers are created fully according to the individual agreement with the customer.
All prices are stated in Euro (€) and include applicable VAT. Payment can only be made using the payment methods specified on the website, currently PayPal. For new customers or custom book covers, a prepayment may be required to secure the reservation and processing of the cover. Full payment must be made on time for the contract to become effective and delivery to occur. Customers are obliged to pay within the specified time. If payment is not received on time, the provider reserves the right to offer the cover to another customer or cancel the contract.
Delivery of the book cover takes place after the customer has reviewed and approved the preview and full payment has been received. Delivery time may vary depending on the scope and complexity of requested adjustments. Larger or more complex changes may extend processing and delivery times. Specified timeframes are indicative and serve as a guideline only. The cover is delivered digitally via email in high resolution.
Premade covers are sold only once; each design is assigned to a single customer. The use of the cover is limited to the agreed format, including e-book and print. Copyright remains fully with the provider. The customer receives a non-transferable license to use the cover for the agreed book project, including publication, sales, and promotion. Reselling, sharing, or using the cover for other projects is prohibited. Changes by third parties are not allowed.
The provider can make minor adjustments at the customer's request, e.g., changes to typography, placement of text and graphics, or color corrections. Major or extensive modifications beyond these standard adjustments are only possible for an additional fee.
Digital products are excluded from withdrawal once delivered or made available for download. Legal exceptions under applicable consumer protection laws remain unaffected.
The provider is liable only for damages caused intentionally or by gross negligence. Liability for indirect or consequential damages, loss of profit, printing issues, incorrect information provided by the customer (e.g., title or author name), or technical issues during delivery is excluded.
Customer information is processed in accordance with applicable data protection laws (e.g., GDPR) and used solely to fulfill the order. No personal data is shared with third parties.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the law of Germany. Should any provision be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain unaffected.
