Pablo Picasso said, "Inspiration exists but it has to find you working." I've kept this quote taped to my computer as I've been pulling this site together. Words to live by. Or more accurately, words to haunt you when you're supposed to be working :)

For the past several years my focus has primarily been interactive design. I spent the last year at Fallon, and it was a great experience. I was stretched and inspired by the amazing creative people that I met there.

I had many opportunities to work on a variety of projects from interactive games, websites and banners to new business pitches, brand work and print ads. I was amazed at the number of ideas we went through for each project, but the exercise reinforced to me time and again that there isn't just one good idea. There are always other ways to look at a problem.

While at Code 42, I had the chance to develop more technical skills than I thought possible. Understanding how things work certainly affects how I design, ultimately I have much more control over the end product.

In summary, I've had a great time and I hope it shows in the work.
